The Brick Industry Association (BIA) is the only national organization representing and marketing on behalf of clay brick manufacturers, distributorships, and their suppliers. More than two-thirds of all the brick produced in North America is manufactured by BIA members, and BIA's member distributors sell more than half of the brick made by member manufacturers.
BIA has the largest engineering staff in North America dedicated solely to clay masonry techniques, manufacturing processes, testing procedures, and local building code compliance. Architects, builders, engineers, and owners consider BIA to be the authority on brick masonry. In addition, BIA is the only national organization protecting the rights of distributors and manufacturers through its representation before the Federal Government in Washington and its regulatory agencies.
