Architectural students looking to gain significant knowledge of classical design in a short amount of time are in luck, as the Institute of Classical Art and Architecture is offering its rigorous one-year study program in New York starting this fall. The application deadline is June 15. The program, which consists of five six-week terms, will teach students the fine points of classical architecture, art, and design according to the method of the École des Beaux-Arts. Students will go on field trips to leading studios throughout the city in addition to spending two weeks studying Italian art and architecture in Rome.
