Project Description
The award-winning architecture and design firm ADD Inc leads the design for Brickell Bayview Center in Miami, Florida, in the vibrant West Brickell neighborhood.
Brickell Bayview Center distinguishes itself with a unique angular, towering basket-weave design. The zigzag structure with serrated balconies represents flight, movement, lightness and two-dimensional shifting planes.
The 650,000 square foot residential tower includes 4,500 square feet of ground level retail space and will have 48 stories, 420 residential units, and 440 parking spaces.
Brickell Bayview Center was created with environmental concerns in mind. The building’s design avoids direct sunlight and solar radiation. Wells located throughout the structure will capture storm water, and interior materials, such as paint, carpets, adhesives and sealants will be low emitting to maintain optimum indoor air.
Once it's completed in 2016, Brickell Bayview Center will alter the Brickelly skyline with its unique architectural design and will pursue LEED certification.
