Project Description
This singular house is located in an amphitheatre-shaped site, which opens towards the city and its surrounding hilltops.
Located at the Southeast of Caracas, is set on a plot of approximately 3,500 square meters. The architectural design stresses the concepts of lightness and transparency, reaffirmed in a compact model of vertical development.
The house which has three upper levels and a basement, sits on the highest part of the plot, developing a functional pattern defined by its external visuals.
Both pedestrian and vehicular access goes through the surrounding wall by two huge gates.
After crossing the wooden main door, we can visualize the vast social areas of the house, and the wide panoramic windows that dominate the surrounding gardens.
A vertical circulation component is defined by a stunning spiral staircase surrounded by a garden, and a crystal panel elevator which links the different levels. The circular geometry of the house defines the main living room with its high ceiling, intercepted by its conceptual triangular structure. Here, vast panoramic windows offer the scenic views on the gardens and terraces.
The first floor has a family living room and four bedrooms, each including bathrooms and closets as well as ample terraces. In the second floor we find a circular-shaped master bedroom. In an open free space divided by crystal panels, we have two bathrooms, two showers, Jacuzzi and closets. In the north section there is a private studio, flanked by large terraces overlooking the landscape.
In the basement there is parking areas for up to 14 vehicles, a gym, a studio and recreation areas.
