Project Description

The proposed pedestrian and bicycle bridge connecting downtown Cleveland’s Malls to the Lakefront will be a signature bridge of important architecture that will include a steel main cable-stayed span over several railroad and highway lanes owned by NS and CSX railroads, Amtrak, GCRTA and ODOT. The elegant bridge follows a sweeping curvilinear alignment in plan that preserves views of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in the context of the lakefront. The entire length of the bridge including the ramp landing is approximately 1,200 linear feet with a 750’ main span and a single inclined V shaped tower with a height of approximately 180’.
