Project Description
The office is located on the ground level of an apartment building with a parking structure above. The client’s vision for their new campus was having visibility to the public, but also maintaining exclusivity for paying members. In the heart of the co-working space is a public-facing cafe for all guests to indulge in local craft coffee.
Taking as much from the surrounding location, the design was primarily focused on bringing in the essence of Denver. With the history that ties back to the Old West era, and the new technologies of the present, we wanted to create a space where the old and new merge together.
With the Rocky Mountains as the backdrop of the city, it has become the inspiration for the overall concept of the space. Selections of materiality and architectural forms and detailing express the warmth and natural tones derived from the local surroundings.
