Project Description
One of the world's largest wooden domes, this multipurpose sports facility measures 178 meters (584 feet) by 157 meters (515 feet) along its major and minor axes, respectively, with a height ot 52 meters (171 feet). The dome is built with over 25,000 planks of glue-laminated Japanese cedar, interlocking in a diagrid that supports the roof.
