Fairview Builders is small family owned home building business that specializes in new construction of custom, single family homes in the upstate of SC. Focusing primarily in the various Cliffs communities and communities surrounding Lake Keowee, we strive to construct beautiful homes that complement the natural surroundings and environment, while ensuring that shortcuts are not taken in the efforts of achieving the most structurally sound homes available. Our homes are “over-built” structurally but aim to reduce disturbance to the surrounding wildlife, which is not only a major selling point to homeowners and developers alike but is a treasured part of our state’s culture and identity. At the end of 2012, Fairview Builders began a special project in the Cliffs at Mountain Park. Acting as the general contractor and holding a sole design and build contract with the investor/homeowner, Fairview undertook this project with several chief goals in mind. First, to help drive economic interest in the nearby golfing developments by offering a new, fresh take on the luxury home product so desired by many in their demographic. Secondly, to provide the best possible demonstration of our firm’s capabilities in selecting and managing expert tradesmen and women. We feel that this home is our best product to date and has greatly helped to achieve both of these goals. Top end custom Habersham cabinets complement each of three bathrooms, a powder room, the kitchen, and various vanities and furniture items throughout the home. Similarly, custom made furniture and furnishings adorn each room. Intricate tile work throughout the home features handmade tiles from around the globe. Amidst the elegant interior design lies several tastefully added modern advancements. Viking appliances are found in the kitchen and bonus suite kitchenette on the upper floor. Full-home automation connects the home’s heating and air, interior lighting, audio controls, exterior door locks and flood lamps, security system, and much more; all of which are accessible features easily manipulated via smartphone, tablet, or integrated touch screens discretely embedded throughout the home. We feel that this entry qualifies as an award winner in your program. The kitchen is immaculate and beautiful and rivals the luxury feel of anything in our region. Additionally, our home has won several awards already, including most recently the 2013 Southern Home & Garden Bridge Awards for Best Kitchen and Best Bathroom for new homes in the $1m to $5m price range.
