Project Description
FROM THE ARCHITECTS:
The space between the structures, the relationship of one structure to the next, and the connection between structure and landscape were the most important elements in the overall design. The client's work and passions revolve around landscape and gardens, and he wanted to experience his gardens – not just see them -- from multiple vantage points. The pool is away from the house so that it is seen as a destination. The house gives him a modern, comfortable living environment with low energy consumption in which he can age in place.
