Project Description
MT Development & Construction and Architect Dennis E. Zirbel collaborated to create this 6,699-square-foot home in beautiful Martis Camp on 1.85 acres of Golf Course frontage. As you approach the 10-foot-tall artistic oak and glass pivot door, it feels as though you’re entering a modern masterpiece. The exterior glass wall, framed by a mosaic of hot rolled steel, reveals the stunning “waterfall” cabled staircase within. Beyond the entry is a great room glowing in towering glass Weiland doors and windows, the outdoor terrace beyond offering gallery views of the golf course. The kitchen features a long stone waterfall island and, beyond, a dining room with one wall that displays a vast wine collection. Ceilings are made from western red cedar while the floors are accented by a distinctive combination of wide French white oak planks and etched basalt tile. Walls, doors and cabinetry are clad in a rift white oak. Occasionally, exterior stacked stone walls continue inside the home enhancing the indoor/outdoor connection. There are two master suites with fireplaces, soaring windows, custom walk-in closets, private outdoor spaces, and views of the 6th fairway. Upstairs are four guest rooms, one designed as a playful kids’ escape with room for three queen bunkbeds. At the top of the staircase are two custom barn doors opening to a recreation room with a wet bar, wide deck and views of the Tom Fazio golf course. The terraced backyard features four covered patios, two large uncovered patios, a firepit, and a spa.
