Project Description
From the precipice of fashion, to the latest in dining and entertainment, MixC One spans over 2.5 million square feet and aims to become a primary dining, entertainment and fashion destination for the region.
Its six levels are designated for select uses that range from a sublevel gourmet supermarket to a seminal entertainment district, featuring an Imax Theatre and an eight screen cinema located on the fifth floor. An Olympic sized ice rink also entices guests and adds to the project’s overall entertainment dynamism. Fine dining as well as food and beverage line the upper levels and synergize the nearby entertainment components.
With over 1.5 million square feet of designated retail space, the project amalgamates a diverse grade of retail to include convenience retail for the everyday shopper, fast-fashion retailers that stay versed with prevailing trends and high-end options throughout.
Ensuring an open connection to the greater city was integral to the project and is a driving force for its design. This feat can be seen through the number of outdoor integration points within the project. Mix C One creates a strong storefront presence for individual retail shops that can be accessed directly from the street and line the main intersection of the city. Rather than funneling entry into the center, access points are dispersed across the project from all sides. Outdoor terraces located within the fine dining area further open up the project to the city and yield expansive outdoor views.
A central urban plaza that occupies the front area near the main entrance acts as the project’s ample living room where outdoor community events can be held throughout the year. An indoor/outdoor winter garden forms a multi-purpose recreational space that also houses a children’s playground.
