Project Description
This “Santa Fe” inspired design modular/manufactured energy efficient home was built 17% above standard CA Title 24 building codes in 2010. Energy Star and Ca Advanced certified by So Cal Edison. HERS Rated, Door and Duct Blower Tested by HERS rater. The average annual electric/gas utility bill is < $500 in climate zone of 10. It was built for a senior 62+ couple looking to save money. It participated in the 2011 Ojai Valley Green Tour. The picture depicts a Nissan Leaf plugged into the home for the 150 visitors to see how inexpensive it is to have a both a solar powered home and an electric car living on fixed income.
