Project Description

Located on a tight urban site, Temple needed to add both parking capacity and program support space and asked Array to develop a solution that contributed to the neighborhood and conformed to budgetary constraints. We saw this as a gateway, an opportunity to create a new front door for Temple, one that invites, welcomes and calms all who enter, as well as an opportunity to extend the Temple brand. By taking advantage of the “spaces in between” we were able to gather additional floor area to ease current overcrowding.

This 5,000 SF project creates a new landmark entry to the campus that improves the pedestrian experience while adding much needed space for future Patient Services and Emergency Department expansion. The 5 level garage is designed to accommodate 415 spaces with an enclosed access ramp and emergency vehicle parking for the ED and an area of respite for emergency responders.
