Project Description
This corporate campus highlights the relationship between the built environment and its natural setting – a thirty-five acre tract of open-pasture, forest, and wetland. Three office buildings surround gardens and a parking structure. The space between the parking structure and buildings becomes a forecourt of gardens, water features, and walking paths. The staggered arrangement of buildings ensures open views from all offices. Their curtain walls combine different shades of spandrel glass to express a relationship with the surrounding landscape. The elevation that fronts the formal gardens features an ordered grid in contrast to the more playful, free-form pattern facing the natural wetlands. Stone piers underscore the related geometries of built form and open space.
