International Market Centers (ICM), the managing partner of Lightfair, the annual North American architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference has announced that Vice President Rochelle Richardson has resigned, effective Feb. 21, 2019. According to a Feb. 22 article in Trade Show Executive Magazine, Richardson has “…assumed the role of Senior Vice President of Expositions and Events at AVIXA where she will lead the strategy and operations for the North American InfoComm show.”

Richardson joined Lightfair in 2007 and during her 12-year tenure with Lightfair and AmericasMart (AMC), which was acquired by IMC in July 2018, helped grow the show into one of the largest annual gatherings for the architectural lighting design community. Lightfair 2018, held in Chicago, welcomed 28,075 attendees and 600 exhibitors across 285,600 square feet of exhibit space at McCormick Place.

“Rochelle has made an indelible mark on the Lightfair business across every dimension of its trade show and conference offerings. She leaves the LFI global franchise well positioned for sustained growth. We wish Rochelle well in her new endeavors,” said Robert J. Maricich, chairperson and chief executive officer of Lightfair managing partner IMC.
