While in Northern California for a wedding last weekend, my husband and I stopped by Williams Selyem winery in Healdsburg, Calif. Since 2010, the highly regarded company has inhabited a sparkling new facility, which happens to have been built by Custom Home’s 2011 Custom Builder of the Year, Jim Murphy & Associates. (The architect was Alex Ceppi of the New York firm D.arc Group.)
In our snapshot of the front entry you can see wine barrels lining the glass walls. It’s a nice touch that warms the modern, concrete-and-glass interiors. Better photos can be seen on both the builder’s and the architect’s websites.–M.D.
