Project Description

Located on the Kohala coast on the island of Hawaii, the Marine Mammal Center is supporting the conservation efforts of the critically endangered Hawaiian monk seal.

The design is a first-of-its kind healthcare facility for healing injured Hawaiian monk seals. The Hawaiian monk seal is one of the most critically endangered marine mammals and has been experiencing a declining population for many years.
