Bernecker at the Helm

Craig Bernecker of the Lighting Education Institute assumed presidency of the IESNA on July 1, 2004. He succeeds Ronnie Farrar. Bernecker has held a long list of positions with the organization over the years, including vice president of both technical research and educational activities and regional educational chair. Bernecker will turn the role of president over to the newly elected senior vice president, Alan L. Lewis with the New England College of Optometry, for the 2005-2006 program year.

Other newly appointed 2004/2005 IESNA board members are Joseph Murdoch, who will serve as vice president of design and application, and Kimberly Szinger, vice president of member activities.
