The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released the May employment report today, which includes data on how many jobs large sectors added and lost last month. The release also includes the most recent data on smaller portions of the job market, which includes architecture, landscape architecture, and engineering and drafting services. These numbers are released one month later than the larger sectors.

The overall architecture and engineering sector added 4,500 jobs in May, nearly double what the sector added in April.

Architecture lost 100 jobs in April, the same loss experienced in March and the second straight month of losses for the industry.

Conversely, landscape architecture added a whopping 3,100 jobs in April. While this number is subject to revision in the coming months, this growth is the strongest month for landscape architecture in 25 years (the BLS online database only dates back to 1990.)

Engineering and drafting services added 500 jobs, the weakest month of 2015.

*Correction: An earlier version of this article said that April 2015 was the strongest month for landscape architecture in a decade and a half. It’s the strongest month in 25 years.
