Project Description
Located in the home of a former Coca-Cola bottling plant, this adaptive reuse project reclaimed an underutilized site for a dynamic, engaging new school which seeks to develop students’ skills outside of a traditional high school setting. The industrial aesthetic pays homage to the building’s history; newly inserted elements such as light wells and a bright orange wall which slices through the building, add vibrancy to the storied space. The resulting design is light-filled, expansive, highly functional, and welcoming.
