FROM THE ARCHITECTS:
Elysee Residences is a luxury condominium underway in Miami’s East Edgewater neighborhood by Two Roads Development – an entity formed by affiliates of Eastview Development, the developers of Biscayne Beach. Upon completion in 2018, the 57-story boutique high-rise will feature 100 half-floor and full-floor residences ranging from 3-5 bedroom units, all with direct water views.
Form follows function again. The building expands as the residences grow in size. At first sight the tower feels daring and maybe even whimsical when in fact it is a monument to rationality. If a tower is a village turned sideways and upward, this is a tower of three neighborhoods. In this era of technology, this design challenges gravity and announces the triumph of man. The tower grows larger as it reaches up to the skies with more area exposed to the views. It narrows at the base to create larger open spaces.
