Blumenthal, Smith, and del Signore Create Blackbird Lighting Company

Lester Blumenthal and Mark del Signore, former partners of Blumenthal Alternative Wallcovering (now owned by Steelcase), have joined with industrial designer Christopher Smith to form Sheffield, Massachussetts-based Blackbird. For residential and commercial applications, the company’s lighting collections are designed with a modern sensibility geared to complement any interior space.
