Most recently the editor of Change Observer (part of the Design Observer Group), Julie Lasky has now moved on to take up the title of The New York Times’ deputy editor of the Home & Garden section. A widely published writer and critic of design, Lasky has also held the title of editor-in-chief of I.D. Magazine and Interiors.
Author, lecturer, and fellow also dot Lasky’s resume. A design aficionado, Lasky co-authored Borrowed Design: Use and Abuse of Historical Form (1993) and Some People Can’t Surf: The Graphic Design of Art Chantry (2001).
