This week, we're sharing projects from India to South Korea, California, and Texas, with several stops in between. In addition to the projects that we cover in detail, we highlight work that architecture firms share with us every day through Project Gallery, the user-generated portion of ARCHITECT's website. To date, we have nearly 16,000 projects.

TriHealth Harold M. and Eugenia S. Thomas Comprehensive Care Center, Cincinnati
GBBN Architects
"Strategically sited to create a park-like setting, the Thomas Center prioritizes pedestrians over cars; it balances patient privacy with a natural light; and it provides ample public spaces, where people can find community and support through shared experiences."

Black Hog BBQ, Ashburn, Va.
CORE Architecture + Design
"The design celebrates the rich history of BBQ in America, with inspiration taken from the pit-master’s pride and the ad-hoc nature of old-school BBQ halls. A major focal component of the space is the monolithic volume of the kitchen, whose mechanical details conjure a giant smoker."

Sthira, Kerala, India
Taliesin Homes
"A conservatory of sorts, Sthira’s envelope is composed of glass and sleek steel members that unfold the space effortlessly, allowing the homeowners to lounge and take in the seamless views of the countryside."

Office for Crayons, New Delhi
Studio IAAD
"The east façade is made transparent in order to let in maximum natural light and maintain connectivity with the... green expanse that is outside. The west side of the structure has been blocked with a complete solid mass, with a closed office below and a service floor above, to provide thermal insulation to the open office, thereby reducing the HVAC as well as electrical load."

Motherland Corporate Office, Gurgaon, India
Architecture Discipline
"Considering the preservation format, the material palette was kept simply restricted to timber and glass. The hand-built partitions made of simple plaid glass with intermediate sleek timber sections have been used to allow the spaces to be visually connected with each other and the main workshop area."
Reed Parke Apartments, Burleson, Texas
KWA Construction
"The three-story building will feature 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units, a leasing office, 58 storage units, an eight-bay garage, carports and a seven-bay bike storage. Community amenities will also include an outdoor gaming lawn, a cyber café, fitness and yoga studio, a dazzling pool, and outdoor grilling areas."

Seoul Jeongmin Special School, Seoul, South Korea
HADE
"By moving away from the typical educational space and utilizing circular and curved shapes, it provides students with the experience of ‘Sensory Play Village’ that moves freely in various directions and heights."

The City of Hope Administration Office Building, Duarte, Calif.
Walter P Moore
"The main architectural features of the building—cast-in-place exterior stairs and a steel/aluminum mesh sunscreen—are also along this interior curve. The stairs and walkways are exposed to the exterior, therefore a portion of the stairs is a continuous constant depth façade that extends along the whole length of the building from the stairs to the floors. Furthermore, the stairs were designed to have supports that cantilevered from the main structure to minimize required columns."

NCCU 24/7 Collaborative Research and Learning Center, Durham, N.C.
Evoke Studio Architecture
Tasked with creating a flexible space for the students of North Carolina Central University, in Durham, the local firm Evoke Studio Architecture designed an approximately 5,000-square-foot, 24-hour hub. A soaring roof shades a spacious, outdoor plaza. At night, the project will emit a welcoming glow through perforated metal cladding.
