The International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) and the New York group of Women in Lighting Design (WILD) are joining forces this September to launch “a team-based event to explore and learn about unique projects from New York City women designers.” The goal of the scavenger hunt styled event is to promote the work of women lighting designers by visiting their projects in and around New York City. As participants visit the projects, they will complete fun exercises and hear from the lighting designers about the various challenges faced on each project.

Lighting designers interested in submitting a project (or projects) for consideration must either be the firm principal or have served as the lead or senior designer on the project. Applicants should provide the following information:

  • Project Name
  • Project Location
  • Firm Name
  • Lead Designer(s)
  • Up to three (3) photos of the project in high-resolution format.
  • Up to five (5) fun facts or unique features that can be used to distinguish your project from others.

Project submission deadline is Aug. 13, 2018, and materials should be sent to: [email protected].
