Pantone has unveiled its color selection of 2025—Mocha Mousse (PANTONE 17-1230), a rich, sensorial brown that embodies warmth and understated elegance. This mellow, sophisticated shade reflects a growing desire for comfort and a connection to the natural world.

Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, describes Mocha Mousse as a "thoughtful indulgence," blending earthy refinement with a touch of glamour.

To celebrate the 26th anniversary of Pantone Color of the Year, Pantone will, for the first time, showcase the color through events and experiences worldwide including stops in New York, Shanghai and Mumbai, inviting individuals to explore the emotional and sensory appeal of Mocha Mousse. The color authority even lit up the iconic London Eye in during a light show to symbolize the global reach of 2025’s signature hue.

Leading brands are sporting the color. Motorola integrates Mocha Mousse into its latest Razr series smartphones, combining nostalgia with modern design. Joybird's furniture collection highlights the color's potential in home décor, while Pura introduces custom scents inspired by its warmth.

As Pantone celebrates its 26th year of Color of the Year selections, Mocha Mousse sets a comforting yet aspirational tone for 2025, harmonizing the timeless beauty of natural elements with the demands of modern life.
