A new installation by Snarkitecture opened at the Ocean Terminal Forecourt at Harbour City in Hong Kong earlier this month. The New York firm designed a stadium-like structure filled with giant bouncy balls measuring approximately 5 feet in diameter (1.5 meters) that visitors can lift, throw, roll, and, of course, bounce—all in its signature white palette.

Situated on the Hong Kong waterfront, the white, steel-frame structure features translucent mesh for optimal views of the nearby Victoria Harbour. With the Bounce installation, the firm aims to encourage visitors to create their own experience within a "surreal" playground for children and adults alike, according to a project statement.

As part of the installation, the firm also also created an indoor exhibition in a nearby gallery. Designed as a continuation of the outdoor play area, the exhibit is a tunnel-like enclosure with stacked white and silver bounce balls caged in a similar steel structure.

This is Snarkitecture's first installation in Hong Kong.
