Atelier036 is a NYC based award-winning, full-service, hands-on architectural studio with experience designing mixed use, and residential projects. Our services include all phases of design, from feasibility studies through construction administration. As part of our comprehensive design process we evaluate each project in its entirety: site, orientation, surrounding context, space and energy efficiency, budget restrictions, as well as materials, construction techniques, and post-occupancy issues.We are LEED (sustainable) Accredited Professionals and our building design approach focuses on people, function, sense of place, quality of space, orientation, and the fine line between interior and exterior.
We work together with you, the client, to develop the space program based on your project needs. We then begin an intensive study and develop several schemes that address your functional and spatial requirements. These schemes will be presented for your review and discussion, and serve as a jumping board for project development. Our studio is unique as we follow the “tabula rasa” approach – no preconception. All our work is developed in 3D where we allow our clients to experience the space prior to construction.
