FROM THE ARCHITECTS:Wakefield Beasley & Associates (WBA), founded in 1980 by Richard Lamar Wakefield and John B. Beasley, is a privately owned, United States based Architectural design firm. It offers its clients high-quality design across a diversity of corporate capabilities, anchored by an unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service.
Headquartered in Atlanta, with a full service office in Jacksonville, Florida, and satellite offices in Panama City, Panama, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Shanghi, WBA has grown steadily over the years and is committed to designing environmentally responsible buildings. WBA maintains a staff of more than 140 talented professionals, including registered Architects, Interior Designers and LEED Accredited Professionals.
The existing corporate structure of WBA is such that the company is partitioned into Studio’s with each Studio acting as a separate profit center. These Studios are referred to as the Retail/Mixed Use Studio, Institutional Studio, Office & Industrial Studio, Municipal Studio, Jacksonville Studio, Residential Studio, Interior Design Studio and Design Studio. In addition, our International offices in Panama City, Panama, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Shanghi are set up as separate profit centers as well.
Each Studio is overseen and managed by a Principal at WBA. Traditionally, when a project comes into the WBA office, it is assigned to one of the corporate Studios. From there, the project is managed from start to finish, by a team most suited for the project, selected by the Principal/Director of that Studio, until turnover to the client/end user. The company currently offers a very diverse mix of services such as architectural design, construction and program management, interior design, pre-development services, site analysis and due diligence studies. Through our network of consultants, we typically offer other design services such as structural engineering, mechanical and plumbing engineering, electrical engineering, acoustical design, fire protection design and landscape and hardscape design in our typical agreement with our clients, thereby offering a "one stop shop of services". Typically, we do not offer civil engineering as a part of our contractual relationship, but can and have made modifications to include that service in the past.

WBA is licensed to practice Architecture and Interior Design in 34 states. We currently have projects ongoing throughout the United States, as well as Panama, the United Arab Emirates, and Trinidad.
