Manufacturer Description

Barclay Products can trace its history back to 1933, when it was Sterline Showers Company and its primary products were Converto showers to enable consumers with claw foot tubs to take showers as well as soaking baths.

In 1974 Leslie Raffel took over and transformed the company into an innovative decorative bath products supplier, with unique, designer products from around the world joining the domestic portfolio. In 1982 the name was changed to Barclay Products Limited.

An International Focus on Bath Decor Since the 1980s, the Barclay management team has focused on securing quality products and concepts from around the world that fit into the lifestyles of North American consumers. The list of countries the team has visited in search of uniquely-designed bath products reads like the index to a world atlas – including Dubai, Argentina, India, China, Korea, Ecuador, Canada, Mexico, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Turkey, Brazil, Taiwan, United Kingdom, Thailand, Denmark, Chile – and, of course, the United States.

Today Barclay’s modern 100,000-square-foot warehouse stocks more than 500 different styles of bathtubs, unique sinks (including wall-hung, pedestal, corner, farm-style, designer kitchen, etc.), pivoting drains, faucets, high-tank toilets, and – of course – Converto showers!
