Project Description
Re-branding a corporate office lobby requires many design components. In an effort to revitalize and refresh this previously dark and dreary lobby, the Lighting Designers worked closely with the Architect’s vision to support upgraded street appeal, new circulation visual cues, enhanced views to natural light and a crisp and textural experience. New custom light sticks that wrap up and over the renovated drive court continue into the lobby to engage with new wood trellises with integrated lighting. Micro baffle linear general lighting provides glare-free illumination while all perimeter surfaces are washed or grazed with optically specific lighting. A new “fade out” film at the glazing allow for soft white up-lighting, while maintaining a view to the exterior. This up-lighting is counter-pointed by the perimeter grazing of the articulated wood walls.
