Project Description
The clients contacted FORMA while still living in Central America. They had purchased this 3-story rowhouse in Tenleytown in Northwest Washington, DC and commissioned FORMA to completely renovate the home to fit their lifestyle and extensive collection of sculpture, painting and photography, while they were still abroad.
FORMA re-configured the apartment, raised the doors to the outdoor deck and allowed for more light to filter throughout. Wide-plank espresso wood floors contrast with crisp white-laquered shelving, white metal railings, a stone fireplace mass and a European style kitchen, while walnut furniture and cabinetry bring warmth and visual interest throughout. A variety of lighting options help animate the space and highlight the amazing art collection.
The couple lives there with their Weimaraner Elsa.
