Project Description
The Cameron Hill Campus overlooks downtown Chattanooga and unites employees from ten city locations. Five buildings radiate outward from the crest of the hill, encircling a central public plaza like individuals coming together as a community. The new headquarters promote the company’s mission by enhancing the cross-pollination of ideas. A spine of skybridges and canopied walkways provide easy movement between buildings. A central glass-canopied plaza creates a major gathering place. Open-plan offices feature ‘encounter spaces’ where employees meet and communicate. Amenities such as an on-site institute for health research and education, a fitness center, three distinctly different garden spaces, outdoor cafes, and walking/running paths encourage employee wellness. As the nation's second largest LEED Gold accredited corporate campus, it demonstrates how a transformative project of this scale can attain a high level of sustainability and become a model for future development in its community.
