Project Description
New rear yard Accessory Building, designed as Recreation Room (to accommodate Table Tennis play & Music Studio) but is primarily my Office with 1/3 of building being a Studio Apt. Building is 45'x22'-8" x 18' tall with Barrel vaulted roof curving down to an 8' plate ht. and 8' deep loft across the entire 45' length of building. I wanted a cross between Modern, Asian & Craftsmen influences . With a Silver Energy Star rated 'Peel & Seal' roof and other elements contributing to passive cooling and in slab radiant heating the building is very environmentally efficient.
