The hanging gardens of Babylon, one of the seven wonders of the world. Ancient, is the only one whose location has not been definitively established. The hanging gardens were a distinctive feature of ancient Babylon, a great source of pride for the people. The gardens of the building are going to have a remarkable impact on the surroundings and on the lives of its inhabitants: the beauty of an ascending serie of staggered gardens of all kinds: trees, shrubs and vines. Emulating a mountain, the gardens will be a drop of nature into the city. DNA’s UrbanLife report on ‘Smart Cities’ explores how technology can also play a role in carbon reduction.
