Project Description
Quorum Architects, Inc. worked with Milwaukee Area Technical College to develop a combination Learning Lab Environment for the students of the “Baking and Pastry Arts” & “Baking Production” programs, and Retail Student Gathering Place. We collaborated with several teams of MATC instructors to realize this multi-disciplinary suite of culinary labs and public areas. The Café is situated directly opposite a prominent entrance to the Main Building on the Downtown Milwaukee Campus. The Kitchen area is outfitted with the latest technology in food service equipment to serve both breakfast and lunch fare in the Café. Dining offerings range from delicate specialty pasties and sorbets to panini and wrap sandwiches.
