Project Description
The client brief requested a new environment which would best reflect their vision of providing multi-generational family wealth management in a relaxed yet refined interior environment which is bespoke to how they serve clients. The client experience is desired to be a tangible and authentic one during which advisors build trust and form relationships designed to last generations.
The interior environment supports this strategy through a sense of arrival, a place for preparation, and technology to work in a setting which can be “owned” by client and advisor equitably. Arrival to this office is from a private parking garage below, with the first brand touch-point greeting clients with a smile from at the elevator lobby, where a custom wood wall begins to guide clients through the veiled glass entry door.
Clients are welcomed by a concierge at a desk constructed of composite quartz and rich wood veneer, deep in color. The materials and textures reflect familiarity to specific generations in their own right. A clever coat closet is hidden within custom millwork which divides a family conference room from adjacent spaces.
Family members gather with advisors in a relaxed seating area where a wood wall folds to become a ceiling element. The wood creates a space which feels like a refuge yet is open and informal.
An adjacent refresh area serves to maintain connections and provide opportunity to instill energy.
Several enclaves support small and large groups in different ways; a low conversational room, video conferencing, and client enclave, all designed for hoteling clients. The family conference room connects to the urban context through glass ribbon windows, provides subtle technological solutions for digital projection and capture of whiteboard content. Collectively, the client engagement spaces serve to host multi generational families for planning sessions which can last anywhere from thirty minutes to a full day and into the evening.
Advisors are located in a connected but separate private office area affording collaboration, conversation, and high-level planning sessions to support client portfolio planning to occur. Throughout the environment local artwork is displayed to celebrate and reinforce the regional connection, furthermore it reflects dynamic energy and meaning for the day to day work of the advisors.
Since completed, this environment has become the benchmark for several other regional offices for the client, proving to all project participants that a well-conceptualized experience is supported in this bespoke space. The client has also used this space to recruit and interview talented advisors from around the country to come and join their organization.
