Project Description
In 1960, NDBT (North Dallas Bank & Trust, Co.) first opened the doors to its iconic 12-story tower located at the corner of Preston Road and Forest Lane in Dallas with $2 million in total assets, three officers, and seven employees.
When built, it was the tallest building in Dallas outside of downtown at that point.
Today, NDBT is celebrating 62 years in business with $1.7 billion in total assets, more than 160 employees, and five banking centers throughout North Texas.
In order to better serve customers, NDBT announced in June 2021 it would temporarily relocate its corporate headquarters and Dallas Banking Center while it underwent a multi-million-dollar renovation & improvement project.
One year later, NDBT unveiled its new modernized facility, which involved a complete redesign, reconfiguration, and modernization of its bank lobby, teller lines, office space, executive suites, customer and employee lounges, and technologies, as well as a relocation of its Drive-thru banking facilities.
All in all, the space now provides a new collaborative and inviting design layout, upgraded technologies and amenities, and a modern, bright, and ‘retail-like’ environment that ensures an exceptional experience with every visit.
NDBT worked with Gensler and Pacific Builders to design and renovate the space.
