Students participating in the 2018 Illuminating Engineering Society's New York City Section's (IESNYC) annual student competition will be showcasing their work on March 7, during the program’s annual evening event held at Metropolitan West Pavilion, 639 West 46th St. in New York City. The 2018 competition theme is “Bound by Light” and challenged students to construct a three-dimensional study that explores everyday connections—interpersonal, intercultural, technological, or something more—through light.

The evening starts at 6:00 p.m. with a reception and exhibition, followed by a keynote talk at 8:00 p.m. by Megan Carroll, Senior Specification Sales Manager at New York Digital. The event is free, but registration is required. For more information and to register go to the event page on the IESNYC website.
