Leviton Sets Up New Lighting Business Unit

The new business unit aligns the company’s three recent acquisitions under one executive team.

Leviton has announced the creation of a new lighting business unit to realign its recent acquisitions of JCC, Contech Lighting, and Intense Lighting, under one executive leadership team. John Ranshaw, former president of Contech Lighting, will serve as vice president and general manager of the new business unit.

“As a company, Leviton’s deep bench of lighting knowledge and expertise is now organized to operate efficiently, innovate quickly and maintain its industry leadership position,” said Ranshaw in a prepared statement. “We look forward to developing even more comprehensive and exciting lighting solutions for commercial, hospitality, supermarket, retail, and residential customers in the future.”

Customers should contact their national account sales representative with specific questions related to how the new organization relates to their account.
