The Trend Forum at Light+Building showcases trends in the home for 2014-2015 and is geared toward designers and architects working in interiors. Four living space sets are on display featuring a color palette and selection of materials that speaks to each trend. This year’s four “scenes,” designed by bora.herke.palmisano style studio, are:

“Constructed Space,” is a vignette that features a minimalist and modern approach with graphic patterns, and monochrome and highly polished surfaces.

  • “Unaffected Scene,” is a vignette that features organic forms, and a subdued palette of pastel colors along with a mixture of material textures such as stone and wood.
  • “Singular Spot,” is a vignette celebrating an eclectic mix of color, materials and craft techniques.
  • “Selected Site,” a vignette that focuses on the art of craftsmanship with structured surfaces, metal finishes, and a color palette ranging from muted shades of white to mahogany to midnight black.
