Madera, Calif.-based landscape and architectural lighting manufacturers B-K Lighting and Teka Illumination have announced the promotion of Nathan Sloan to President and CEO. Sloan currently serves as president, a position he was promoted to in 2014.
“Nathan Sloan is a skilled leader who has distinguished himself since his promotion to President of B-K Lighting + TEKA Illumination. The time has come for Nathan to take the next step forward in his career, and I couldn’t be more pleased and supportive. He has proven strategic thinking capabilities, strong business decisions and outstanding relationship skills that will serve him well in this role,” said Douglas W. Hagen, founder and former CEO of B-K Lighting and Teka Illumination.
Sloan has been with B-K Lighting since 1995 and has held a variety of positions from assembly to general management. A graduate of California State University, Fresno, his degree in business management and his understanding of the manufacturing processes has served the companies well as they continue to grow and innovate.
