October 8, 2005, marks the beginning of the third annual Open House New York, where 150 buildings and places of architectural distinction will be open to the public. One event of interest is the Light Projects Cell Phone Tour and Studio Visit, during which Leni Schwendinger of Light Projects will discuss via cell phone the in-progress art and architectural improvements made to the Port Authority Bus Terminal pedestrian landscape, and host visits to her studio.
