COOLS ROOFS HAVE REFLECTIVE SURFACE CertainTeed Corp. has released 14 low-slope granulated cap-sheet membranes that feature CoolStar-coated surfaces, a reflectant surface for low-slope roofing. The family of products has received ratings for solar reflectance and thermal emittance from the Cool Roof Rating Council. The coating is factory applied for hassle-free, one-step field applications.
