Magnusson likes the look of subway tiles, but she opts for Appiani’s Anthologhia mini pieces because they offer “the same proportions on a reduced scale, a rich color palette, and a competitive price.” The 1-inch-by-2-inch tiles are mounted on a fi berglass sheet measuring 11.8 inches by 10.8 inches.
