keystone capers

product picks from the pros.

Gomes + Staub prefers a tile design that’s straightforward. Its product of choice, Gomes says, is Dal-Tile’s unglazed Keystones series of porcelain tiles, which “work equally well on floors and walls.” The “durable and inexpensive” tiles have a through-body color and flat matte finish that make them ideal for self-edging and trimwork. They come mesh-mounted on 12-inch-by-24-inch sheets in several shapes and dozens of colors, including the arctic white the firm chose for this bath.
