Lighting manufacturers around the world are preparing for the biennial Light + Building tradeshow, which will be held in Frankfurt, Germany, from March 13 to 18. Products and technology on display will span decorative luminaires to retail lighting systems to the latest in LEDs, drivers, lamps, and more. Architectural Lighting checked in with a few manufacturers that will be exhibiting at the event to learn what products they’ll be showcasing. Here, we're highlighting the latest in components and fixtures from iGuzzini to be on display at the show.

For retail and residential applications, the LED Laser downlight is 75mm in diameter and comes in square and circular trims with gold chrome rings and warm dim color temperatures. Fixed, internally and externally adjustable optics direct light while managing glare. A wallwasher option is also available. The fixtures are IP44 rated with some IP65 options.

The Quid LED streetlight is designed for urban and suburban roadway and area lighting and comes in pole-top and overhang mounts with a design that limits uplight. Three optic types are offered to tailor the fixture for use in applications such as parking lots, bicycle lanes, and roadways.
The company will also showcase its tunable white technology (top image), which offers color tuning from 2700K TO 5700K for wallwashers and high-contrast, minimal frame optics in applications such as retail and galleries, allowing designers to modify the color of the light to accent/highlight the goods on display.

Twilight is a circular-top, pole-mounted LED luminaire that comes in three styles—Joburg, Canberra, and Bilbao—and whose aesthetic differences alter slightly the way in which each delivers light. A chip-on-board LED lamp can be paired with their a symmetrical or elliptical optic. The former is suited for public areas such as parks and squares while the latter is intended for illuminating pedestrian paths.

Underscore InOut can be specified in widths from 6mm to 16mm to provide white and RGB light for signage and architectural detailing. They are IP68 rated.

This compact aluminum spotlight comes in wide-flood and wallwash optics. View's track heads can be installed on a three-phase track while the wallwasher has a mounted base, in both cases allowing for a 360-degree rotation around the vertical axis and a 90-degree rotation around the horizontal axis. An automatic locking mechanism secures the projector.
