Lighting manufacturers around the world are preparing for the biennial Light + Building tradeshow, which will be held in Frankfurt, Germany, from March 13 to 18. Products and technology on display will span decorative luminaires to retail lighting systems to the latest in LEDs, drivers, lamps, and more. Architectural Lighting checked in with a few manufacturers that will be exhibiting at the event to learn what products they’ll be showcasing. Here, we’re highlighting latest in components and fixtures from Zumtobel to be on display at the show.
Zumtobel will showcase products for residential, office, retail, outdoor, and industrial applications under the theme, “Zumtobel: Your Light for Life.”

Among those products will be the Ativo sensor, which helps to maintain efficient yet optimum light levels in industrial applications, helping building managers better understand how a space is being used. The company will also showcase its SuperSystem multifunctional LED lighting system (above), which includes direct/indirect, spot, and wallwash luminaires for interior and exterior applications. It is available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K with a CRI of 80-plus. Also on view will be the company’s new NightSight luminaire (top image) for outdoor applications.
