Clockwise from top: Abacus, Carry, Tread

Maharam recently introduced several upholstery and curtain fabrics suitable for use in healthcare. Straight and diagonal line segments can create scenic fences as well as the graphic pattern behind Tread, a polyurethane fabric with a silane-based antimicrobial. Suitable for use in seating or vertical wall applications, Tread can be cleaned with a water-based cleanser or diluted bleach. Abacus recalls the simple beauty of the forerunner to the modern-day calculator in pre- and post-consumer recycled polyester, which can be cleaned with a water-based cleaner. Meanwhile, Carry is a privacy curtain textile that combines an array of colors in vertical stripes, creating a subtle gradient without the shock value of a sugary children’s cereal. maharam.com
