Product: Thermal Break Element from Schock

German manufacturer Schöck has introduced an off-the-self solution to thermal bridging to the U.S. market. Isokorb is a load-bearing, thermal-insulating element for connecting cantilevers, such as balconies and canopies, which penetrate a building’s exterior. It reduces heat transfer through the building envelope, therefore providing a higher interior temperature. This approach to thermal break technology saves energy, prevents the formation of condensation and mold, and increases indoor comfort, the company says. schock-us.com.
